The Coaching Experience
Hey there, I’m Charlotte! Registered AMFT & Life Coach!
Congrats! on taking the first step in pursuing healing and wellness. Taking the time to work on current personal issues, workiing through emotional struggles, and increasing healthy coping will allow you to function in a healthier way. You will increase confidence, self-esteem, and inner peace.
During an individual session, you will be able to spend counseling time with myself where you will be able to share your current situation or past traumas, process feelings you are experiencing, and/or increase problem-solving.skils You will also do goal setting and do homework activities to accomplish these goals. In addition, you will also spend time interacting with Copper to practice Mindfulness strategies so that you can increase your Mindfulness practice independently in daily living.
Mindfulness activities will include the following:
Mindful Grooming: Learn how to use grooming tools to connect with Copper, while stimulating the senses and focusing on the present
Mindful Horse Leading: Walking with Copper and matching steps while doing intentional observing
Mindful Breathing and grounding: Learn how to deep breathe and practice calming with the 5 senses
Mindful Observation: Observing how horses interact and focusing on the present setting around you
Horse Yoga: Doing light stretches in partnership with Copper
